This is a vintage 1920 Madeleine
Vionnet design.  The gown is
composed of 157 velvet squares hung
on the bias, seams are hand-couched
with gold metallic thread. This
authorized remake will be on exhibit at
various museums throughout North
America during 2011 and 2012.
